PHOTOJOURNALISM - ROBERT BOCIAGA
Robert Bociaga is a traveling photojournalist specializing in International Affairs, he holds a master's degree in Law.
For over three years, I was based in South East Asia, captivated by the pace of changes going through the region. For a number of high-quality outlets, I have published my photos and texts, illustrating economic and social issues around urbanization, political marginalization, destruction of nature, religion, culture change and poverty.
With the onset of pandemic, I found myself in Myanmar, on which I extensively reported - it took a coup d'etat and my subsequent arrest for documenting pro-democracy protests to get me out of the region.
Undeterred by difficulties, I remain motivated to give voice to people often omitted by media.
